Eligibility
Check your eligibility for the Warmer Homes programme
You can register your interest if:
you have a total household income of £36k or less per year
you receive a means tested benefit
your home has an EPC rating of D, E, F or G
you are a homeowner or private tenant
Please note, if your application is initially assessed as eligible, the Warmer Homes team will contact you to verify your eligibility. Depending on how you're eligible, you may need to provide information such as bank statements, payslips or council tax bill/proof of address; or if you are self employed accounts from your last financial year or trading summary. All evidence provided will be securely stored in line with GDPR regulations and will only be used to verify your eligibility for the Warmer Homes programme. Without verification of your eligibility, we will be unable to progress your application.
As part of our eligibility checks, we may review your asset value. If you are found to have assets of a high value, your application may be held for further inspection to ensure the support is reaching those who need it most.

What energy efficiency measures are available?
The Warmer Homes programme offers a variety of fully funded energy efficiency measures. There is currently funding available under the programme for measures such as:

Solid Wall Insulation (external)

Cavity Wall Insulation

High Heat Retention Storage Heaters

Solid Wall Insulation (internal)

Loft Insulation

Solar PV panels

Room-In-Roof Insulation

Air Source Heat Pumps

Heating Controls
Please note that all measures are subject to the property receiving a satisfactory survey from one of our qualified installers and being technically and financially feasible under the funding available within the programme.
This funding is designed to assist support low-income families to improve the energy efficiency of their properties, helping to reduce fuel poverty. As part of the eligibility assessment, household savings will be reviewed to ensure the funding reaches those who need it most.
