About us

Warmer Homes provide a range of fully-funded energy efficiency improvements for your home and is led by Portsmouth City Council, working in partnership with a consortium of 30 other local authorities. These improvements are funded by Warm Homes: Local Grant, which is administered by the Government’s Department for Energy Security & Net Zero (DESNZ).

You could be eligible if:

you have a total household income of £36k or less per year

you receive a means tested benefit

your home has an EPC rating of D, E, F or G

you are a homeowner or private tenant

Please be aware your application will be added to our waiting list as the scheme is currently oversubscribed. We are awaiting a decision from the scheme provider (Department for Energy Security & Net Zero) regarding further funding.
